Regulations

Be a responsible student while having fun. Please follow the following rules and regulations in order to give everyone a comfortable environment of entertainment and learning.

Basic Rules 

1.  Students are required to use English as their main language in the club.
 

2.  Students are not allowed to run and chase in the club area to prevent potential dangers.
 

3.  Students are not encouraged to adjust the air-conditioners. Please contact us if you need help.
 

4.  Students are strictly forbidden to climb onto the bookshelves or stand on chairs and tables.
 

5.  Students are not allowed to say coarse language no matter what language it is in.
 

6.  Students are required to keep the place clean and tidy. Do not litter. Rubbish in bin.
 

7.  Students are allowed to use computers for researches and homework. Entertainment use is only allowed when there's no one in the line and the user is not allowed to browse inappropriate contents.
 

8.  The ERC committee members and our teacher advisors reserve all rights, including the right of final decision of any arguments.

Regulations of borrowing materials 

1.  We have a wide variety of books, magazines and movies. You can borrow them and enjoy them at home under the rules and regulations below.



2.  Students (hereinafter referred to as "you") are required to write down your name, class and class number and/or sign your name (if necessary) in the Checkout Record Book ​under the guidance of us (Committee members or teacher advisors, same  below) for record and to ensure you have agreed with the rules and regulations before you are allowed to take the books, magazines and/or DVDs (hereinafter referred to as "materials") out of the club area. You might be requested to show your student card for confirmation if necessary.
 

3.  Each student has 2 quotas for borrowing materials. If you want to borrow more materials, you must return one of your  borrowed materials before you borrow the third material.
 

4.  You can renew your borrowed materials for at most ​3 times. You can find us for renewal registration.
 

5.  You are required to return the book or discs within one week or $0.5 will be fined per week, unless you're absent on that day (absence proof  is required).
 

6.  Please keep all borrowed materials in good condition. You are required to pay a fine if you lost any borrowed materials. Basically the amount  of the fine is the original price of the lost material(s), but we (Committee members or teacher advisors) might adjust the fine amount accordingly under some special occasions.
 

7.  The ERC committee members and our teacher advisors reserve all rights, including the right of final decision of any arguments.
